Miguel Herrero is a Senior Market Advisor at PVcase, with over 7 years of experience in energy and climate across the private, public, and civil society sectors. He expertly analyzes global solar market trends, offering strategic insights to PVcase’s management. Before joining PVcase, Miguel was a key figure at SolarPower Europe as a Senior Policy Advisor and gained valuable experience as a trainee with the EU climate and energy commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete. Miguel is a leader in driving forward solar industry innovation and impact.
Daniel Garasa Sagardoy is a research analyst specialising in utility-scale solar PV developments in Europe. His research covers all aspects of large-scale solar PV development across the region, such as rate of deployments, cost structures and policy updates.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Daniel worked at Iberdrola, where he was a solar project engineer. In that capacity, he supported analysis on the design and performance of PV arrays, both ground-mounted and floating.
Daniel graduated from Carlos III University in Madrid, where he received undergraduate and master’s degrees in Energy Engineering and Renewables Energy in Electricity Systems, respectively.
