Longi, a global leader in solar technology, made a decisive move into energy storage, launching its integrated solar-plus-storage platform strategy ‘Longi One’ in April 2026.
In this pv magazine Webinar, Longi will showcase its new 261 kWh long-duration energy storage system designed specifically for commercial and industrial applications.
Nick Zeng, product and solution manager at Longi Energy Storage Technology, will introduce the solution’s flexible AC and DC expansion options and explain how its proprietary iCCS safety architecture and edge energy management system (eEMS) support reliable operation and intelligent dispatch.
Using Israel as a real-world case study, experts from the country’s renewable energy sector will examine why the market is uniquely positioned to benefit from long-duration storage. They’ll discuss the grid challenges facing renewable project developers, compare Israel’s market with global trends, and highlight how LDES can help ease network bottlenecks.
What you will learn:
- The latest policy incentives driving energy storage deployment in Israel
- How storage can support peak-load shifting, demand management, backup power and grid flexibility
- How solar and storage can be coordinated to improve self-consumption and project value
- How modular configurations can support flexible expansion and longer-duration electricity use
Pv magazine Webinar content:
- Opportunities for LDES in Israel
- LDES suitability for grid stability and high self-consumption
- LDES project deployment frameworks in Israel
- In-depth technical presentation of Longi Hi-MO One Pro 261 kWh ESS
