Tim Danis is a Director in the Direct Infrastructure Investment team at Allianz Global Investors, based in Munich, where he focuses on large-scale energy and infrastructure investments across Europe. He has extensive experience across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and structuring through execution and long-term asset management, with a particular focus on energy transition assets. Tim currently serves on the Board of Directors of NeuConnect, the first subsea electricity interconnector linking Great Britain and Germany, öGIG, Austria’s leading fiber roll-out platform, and Autostrade per l’Italia, Italy’s largest motorway network.
Most recently, he was responsible for Allianz Global Investors’ investment into the joint venture with TotalEnergies, supporting the development of 11 utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) assets across Germany with close to 800MW. Prior to joining Allianz, Tim worked at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London. He holds a Master of Science in Business & Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and completed an MBA exchange at Cornell University.
